The Spandau route, which connects the centre of Berlin with Spandau, begins at Schloßplatz in Mitte. It goes west through the Tiergarten past the Olympic Stadium and crosses the river Havel at Dischingerbrücke.

From there, the route continues past Spandau town hall and all the way along the Spektegrünzug to Falkensee, where it ends. If the ride through the Spektegrünzug has given you the taste for more meadows, lakes and countryside, you can follow the Berlin Wall Trail northwards from Falkensee to Spandauer Forst or south to Kladow harbour.
